The Raptors got exactly what they deserved tonight! The Raps fell to the Magic, and lost their series 4-1. Sorry, no sentimentality here, Raptor fans!! Time to step up to the Big Boy table at the NBA Playoffs. It was nice to get invited to the dinner, but now it's time to Eat!! Expect some big changes from Bryan Colangelo's office, and there's even rumors that Sam might be on the firing block also!! I'm more excited for the Raptors' off-season than the post season!! The Hawks barely held on to avoid going down against the Celtics. Now that the series is tied 2-2, the Celts will have to buckle down to get two more wins if they are serious about the number one seed! The Lakers were the only team that swept in the first round, and what a statment they made to the rest of the West. Just when you think the Lakershow has had too much Hollywood, Phil Jackson comes through on a mission for just one more Ring!!
Congrats to Byron Scott who earned NBA Coach of the Year honors for 2007-8!! I remember Byron in his Grizzlies days, and he was always an A-1 class act. We had the pleasure of sitting in front of his wife and twins for two years of our season's tickets in Vancity. Well Done Mr. Scott!

Campbell's Soup in Listowel is closing, putting 400 people out of jobs. 48 years, and finally the final drop falls. Not to be outdone, GM is laying off 1,000 people in Oshawa due to the lack of pickup truck demand. That's alot of Canadians out of work, and needing to relocate!

Tucked away in Costa Mesa, California, I dare you to walk into this mall and not spend a dime! More precisely, walk into the Nordstrom's there and I Dare you to not spend a dime!
