That's The Way Love Goes, It Goes, It Goes, It Goes...

Who Turned the COLD Switch On?? Turn it back off!!
Ok, so Week 3 in the NFL brought some pleasant surprises.
-Not so much a surprise, but a sigh of relief, the Seahawks easily beat the Rams as they head into the bye week. Hass looked good with a motley crew of recievers, and Julius Jones, Leonard Weaver, and TJ Duckett had monster days for the 'Hawks. The D and the twelvth man came correct as they always do! Well done boys! Somebody's getting fired in St. Lou...
- The biggest surprise, the Pats and Matt Cassel get beat by Ronnie Brown and the Miami Dolphins! Wow! Who'd have thunk it? The Dolphins winning on the road too! I like the fact now that there will be no undefeated talk for the Pats from here on out.
- The Bengals almost upset the undefeated NY Giants, but came up just short. A good effort, but someone's getting fired in that city as well.
- The Bills almost got upset by a tough Oakland Raider team, but Trent Edwards came in to save the game, coming from behind. Even though the Bills are 3-0, I'm still not convinced, and they're still not in the clear!
- JT O'Sullivan still looks like a hero in SF. He's no Joe 16, but he's getting the job done for now!
- The Colts drop a close one to Jacksonville, as it looks like Peyton still isn't really 100% if you ask me! The Colts go to 1-2 and although it's not quite panic mode just yet, I'm sure there is some concern in Indytown.
- The Bestest Sunday nighter I've seen so far, the Cowboys stay undefeated, and beat the Packers 27-16. Aaron Rodgers comes down to earth, and the Packers D just couldn't keep up, even on home field. Go CowBoys!
Today marks the last ever game to be played in Yankee Stadium. I remember my first time out there (the year is sketchy), and this is way before digicams and Flip Videos. I remember walking through Monument Park and almost crapping my pants. I remember seeing the huge scoreboard as run down as it was and knowing that it was legendary. I remember sitting on the third base line, and everytime Don Mattingly was announced or came up to bat, he got a standing ovation. I remember walking from the concourse to the green of the field, and the magic that baseball keeps bringing to my mind. I remember the Pinstripes won that night, and I now know how the right hue of the Yankee Blue NY New Era cap is more than a logo, more than being a fan. It's an institution. It's a symbol. It's legendary.
This is where I got attacked by another Grey Goose last night. Great party, Greater food. Happy Bday Ryan!! Keep an eye out for Ryan and his budding Catering business! More on that to come in the future, stay tuned! video
