I Gotta Say, Today Was a Good Day.....

Armageddon Act II
The day went by pretty normal. Recovery from Leroy the Lobster was smooth. I emailed Rodney to complain about the lack of Grey Goose at his fine establishment.
Evening comes.
Had some WICKED Linguine with Clams at the local WICKED pasta joint.
Lizzeth had to get to a show, bail.
BigTimeW is in Buffalo watching the Canoocks get smashed by the Sabres, bail.
CindySu is trying to get rid of a sofabed couch, bail.
Kenny's gotta work the night shift tonight, bail.
LMac is broke and hibernating from the world, bail.
Plans change, move the party from the Cookie Jar to Ultra. Hmmm, bad move?
Mrs Cuzin Rich passes out early on the couch (add to that Cuzin Rich's boycott of Ultra!), bail.
Poppa Slates doesn't dig she-she-frou-frou, bail.
Marv is also working the night shift tonight, bail.
Burke is married and M.I.A., bail.
Bynoe and company go missing until midnight-ish, bail.
Annie is M.I.A., bail.
Fear of the dress code police, leave the AJ5's at home, shoe bail.
S'all good, still have the Horsie Toque, the Horsie Black Watch Polo, the Japanese McD's Denim, Horsie boxers, Horsie Socks, Modern Amusement half trench with the purp polka dot lining, still lookin correct.
Capital M and I get in to Ultra, and just at about Round 2, they tell us we have to move for bottle service rezzo's. *Gong!* Then, out of nowhere, these two professional grade video cameras come out, dude with the boom mic comes out, and another girl holding two bags and a clipboard swoop through and start filming everyone! *ACK!* The Bloggarazzi are out in full force!!
Turns out that the joint is booked for an internet dating website party! I'm not even going to plug them, but let's just say, NOT MY CROWD! *ACK!*
This couple sits next to me, drinking Prosecco in a CAN, and soon enough the cameras come around and start filming! CHECK PLEASE!
So we turn to plan B, old faithful, the Cookie Jar.
Boogie Muzik, CarCar, Bern, heck even Quiet Storm come out and life returns to normalcy. After Round Umpteen of Grey Goose, good beats, killing pool tables, and killer BC, life is all good! Even made some new friends at the Cookie Jar! (That always seems to happen to me?) I always say, IF I could ever start up a place exactly like that back in Vancity, I'd be living in Kitsilano right now!!

The return of the 5 day Bday celebrations is a good thing. Good thing indeed.
