I'm Leaving On a Next Plane, Don't Know When I'll Be Back Again...

Finally arrived home safe and sound, and have you ever had the feeling that karmic powers are at work in your life?? SO, after being stuck in Cincinnati and not having my bags with me, I was worried about which state or country they may have ended up? So I guess from Cincy, to fly to Toronto, they put you in the in-field terminal. For those who have never had the pleasure of flying from the in-field terminal, it's in the middle of the runway, a shack that's built outside of the permanent structure of the airport, and you have to take the "special bus" to get out to it. (I use it at Pearson everytime I want to go to Duke!) So, while sitting in the in-field terminal and spending about $30 trying to keep myself occupied, we finally get to boarding. Boarding from the in-field terminal is fun because you get to walk out on the tarmac, and climb the ladder door up to the plane like in the olden days! As I'm walking up the ladder, I peek out of the side of my eye, and BAMMM!! My bags are sitting there waiting to accompany me to Toronto! Phew, disaster dodged!
Here is where the karmic powers come in..... after all that I endured, I get to Toronto Customs, and the officer doesn't say one single word. He looks at me, looks at the passport, stamps it and my declaration card, and POOF! I'm home free! Weird.

The airline industry is frikken corrupt, and people should be shot for making decisions like cancelling flights that are only half full, and then blaming it on the weather! WTF?? And what's with the Hotel Industry being suckers? Why doesn't the Hotel Industry just bite the bullet and sign a deal with a National Name Brand manufacturer for soap and shampoo instead of buying cheaper private label crap that makes you smell like mothballs? WTF??
