Ok, Raptor nation, no need to panic just yet. Rookie Nathan Jawai has been discovered to have a heart condition and will miss all of training camp. To recover, the Raps have signed Jamal Sampson, a cousin of Ralph Sampson. Just a bit uneasy, but not yet panic mode, far far from it.
Congrats to the newest Captain of the Vancouver Canucks, Roberto Luongo!! That's right, the home team breaks tradition, and gives the "C" to the guy who deserves it most, keeping them in many many games! Well done!
I Heart Americuhhns:
The guy on the left is just killing me, trying to block his face! We SEEN you mang!
Here's Will Smith's latest money-making juggernaut "Seven Pounds":
Looks interesting, and Rosario Dawson gets a crack at a sweet role!
Lusting: Jennifer Love Hewitt! Complex brings you the good goods! Umm yah, I watch Ghost Whisperer for the intriguing plot lines...yah.. umm... yah.

The Name of My Insurance Is "It's Your F*ckin Fault!!"
Miss Janet is fine. She was released from Royal Victoria Hospital in MTL tonight. I guess we just did TOO much partying at the afterparty after her show! :) There's a conspiracy theory about the ticket sales in MTL and why/how the show got cancelled there. We'll discuss it sometime over a Grey Goose attack.
David Spates brings you, "Cockblocking Pt 2" HILARIOUS:
This is my new friend Kimbit! You Have to just watch this and figure out what's going on.
Here's a great view of the wipeout from a different angle!
Basically, she tried to tie her digicam on to a curling rock and throw the rock down the ice while filming. When she figured out that there was only one sweeper, she got up and chased the rock down the sheet, only to wipeout Royally! HA! Too funny! Well done, Kimbit!
Song of the Day: Undisputed - Ludacris (Bam Bam is famous now!)
If you ask me, Momma Said Knock You Out was a better boxing vid.

Janet Jackson Rock Witchu Tour Live in Toronto, Row 11 Floor Seats.
It's here, the day has arrived, tonight. Janet Jackson Live in Toronto. We are together again! Kelly Konno...I see you! So stoked. Stay tuned.....
Sorry for the long delay. Took me a day to figure out how to upload such large content on Blogger and YouTube via the Flip. Got it set now.
Okay, so I'll set the stage. I actually had heart palpitations before the show. I knew it wasn't going to live up to the All For You tour, but there was still something in the air that said this was something special. We had a good Prime Rib Sunday dinner at the House of Parliament. Headed down to the ACC and actually got parking in my favorite lot by the Goodlife. Good omen.
Get to the ACC and by the way, Can't WAIT for Raptor season to start. LL Cool J is already on stage, and I'm not really enthused. We have to ask 17 ushers where our seats are, no lie, it was like snaking down to the VI VI VIP. So we take one look at the stage, and it's extended into the audience in a box. Our seats, right INSIDE the box. Sweet-Ass. I didn't realize, but LL has hits. he played most of the top hitmakers in his catalogue, and actually did not take his shirt completely off. I guess that's what happens when you have a clothing line for the family available at Sears.

Janet herself, still SO Amazing. 40-something years old, and still kickin ass. Her choreography has not changed over the last 20 years, no lie! The silly part is, her 20 year old choreography still beats 85% of the stuff that's out there today! I was sitting right beside this dude who knew every move to the oldie songs, just as I knew EVERY word singing like highschool girl! Forgive the Blair Witchness of my Flip Video reels, but I was jumping up and down and screaming at the top of my lungs like I needed a free tee shirt!

Absolutely legendary show. She played most of the catalogue, and subbed in new tracks for some of the older ones that fell off. One thing missing, Kelly Konno! Seven dudes, two girls, three band members, you knew something was just not right. I guess the production had to be trimmed down a bit, but it was just a tad bit off with no Kelly Konno! To be sitting inside the box and having the show go off all around you, I almost burst into tears, getting that close to JJ's booty! Gil Duldulao did a great job at taking over the choreography. Boyes, everytime I hear "All For You" I can't help but giggle at the memory of you guys performing that routine, over and over and over and over! :)

Witnessing a living legend show off the mastery of her craft was just amazing! Seeing the look on people's faces I'm sure they were thinking the same thing. Mind you, sitting inside that box, only the truest of die hard Janet fans were allowed in. About 9 costume changes, and all of them were Fabuloso!! The girls in front of us knew one of the background dancers, and the guy beside me knew all the moves. Good times!

So far this year, Jay-Z/Mary J Blige, Kanye/Pharell/Rihanna/Lupe and Glow in the Dark, Nas, KRS One, Alicia Keys, this show ties with Jiggaman as concert of the year! Sorry Jay, just being inside the circle, Janet did more for her VI's than your show. Your show was on point, her's was just that much better. Also just the fact that the stage setup was unexpected put it over the top. Sitting Row 3 for Jay-Z and Mary...that was unforgettable. This year was a good being spoiled for shows though.

Get Janet says Janet JJ went to the hospital on Monday. Get well soon JJ!
All being said, great show, great legendary performer. Glad as heck that I invested in my new Flip Video! Sorry again for the vertigo you may have gotten while watching! Seriously, I haven't had such a good time at a show like this since Feb! Long Time, Ha! My only regrets are that I didn't have a second Flip, or I would have recorded the whole dang show! :) People around me even asked me for my weblink so they could see what I got! Hilarious. I still have TONS of still photos, TONS from the digicam, but I didn't want them stolen off of here, so I'll stick with the Flip Videos. Other regrets: no confetti at the end, tee shirts sucked as usual at all the concerts, and the VIP bracelets were Dollar Store specials. Cutbacks are happening in all industries...indeed! Peace, Love, and Janet Jackson.
Song of the Day: Together Again - Janet Jackson

Shine On Me, Shine, Shine On Me.....
RIP Paul Newman, 83 years young. Another victim of the cancer. With the Bzzillions of dollars donated to cancer research, haven't we made a WEE BIT of ground on fighting this disease yet? Rest well, Cool Hand Luke, we'll always have Newman's Own to put on our salads. And the Color of Money.
Here's a look back at Sarah Palin in her swimsuit model years.....ewwwww:
Hilarious!! The Star Trek crew at the A-Team!! I knew I should have taken video editing as my electives!!
Elmo's A PIMP! Hilarity brought to you by College Humor and Frog Island Flicks:
Ok viewers, who wins, the Wonderbra model or the Genesis Gorilla?? See below:
Objexts of My Affliction: Staple Fall 08 looks Fiyah!! And a closer look at The Hundreds x Gravis bag collection. I still got my eye on the rolley, but the backpack will do just fine thank you very much! (hint hint, nudge nudge, wink, smile!)

ONE MORE SLEEP til Janet Live in TORONTO!! Row 11 Floors look for me!

What Makes Me Think That I Can Say This To You, I Know...How Bad You Want This.....
The word of today is "VOLUNTOLD". [vol-uh n-tohld] - verb, past tense and past perfect. 1. to be offered oneself for some service or undertaking. (ie.)"Jimmy was voluntold to take out the garbage". Use it five times daily, and it's yours!!
RIP Dr. Gregory Pratt. We will all miss you for sure. (this was known back in July 07? Dang!)
The College Humor folks take another crack at Sarah Palin, Disney Style!! Hilarious!!
Objexts of My Affliction: Oh Ma Goodness....I Lust the Cultists in MadeMe!!! Sign me up for one of these Estevan Oriol calendars!! Kanye and Lupe show off Dr Romanelli x Fruition x Coca Cola recycled pop bottle vests! Way to go green, that Kanye is so silly!!

It's Me On You, You On Me, What's It Gonna Be??

So the grand Grand opening of Crate and Barrel finally happened to the public today. Check the footage from the Flip Ultra Blair Witch for details!!
All in all, a great store! So many colors, textures, great ideas for house and home decorating! I know that sounds a bit fruity, but when one is on the verge of getting into some property, it's what one does!!
Got the chance to catch my new friend Ruthie Lamb's show at the Reverb today. Great performance, and I love her song "City of Lost Souls". Check out the remixed Flip footage:
Got the chance to meet some pretty interesting individuals at the show. One other performer to keep an eye on is Melissa Bathory. She had a very cool performance, and her nephew was tearing up the dance floor below!
Reigning Canadian Idol Theo Tams was in attendance, along with Jake Gold. Met some other interesting Canadian Music talent, but that's another story for another day. Let's just say it has something to do with Camels and 40 yr old grandmothers. Yikes!!
It's funny what you can find on Queen St West nowadays. This store just caught my eye and I was completely mezmerized by the colors (see below), the possibilities, the ideas. It's called Mokuba, and they have design studios in NY, LA, and HK. If you can get over the snobbiness, it really is a cool store!!

NOT 4 SALE is Not For Sale! I was at my local Best Buy and lo and behold, the new Kardi CD was not there? Was it sold out? Was it stolen? I asked dude, dude said they never got it, he's never seen it. Go figure!!
Staple's got the link on Rotofugi. I've seen it weeks before, but can't embed the vid for some reason. It's a funny compilation of a quasi-universe where Toys collect Humans, just like me an my KidRobot stuff. Scary. My Ninja Munny and King Tut Dunny would be going crazy on me!!
The biggest reason why Ocho Cinco couldn't do THIS TD celebration is because he can't find 4 teammates that like him enough to pull it off!!!
On a better note, this very well could be the best catch you'll ever ever see:
Objexts of My Affliction: The Hundreds x Gravis bags, shoes, and stuff!! Ahem..."Somebody's" BDay is just around the corner!! I'm LOVING the Rolly bag! :) If anyone has connex, please let me know!! VIP Nike SB Boba Fett Dunks, now the ONLY way you can call these Boba Fett's is if you have a picture of the helmet ON the shoe, or at least a rocket jet pack somewhere on the side!! It's ok, I'll still wear them with my Boba Fett bedazzled tee!! Nike Air Force 180 Bumble Bee's...wow! I just HAPPENED to have the right Ralph Lauren Polo shirt to match these up with!! Wow!!
Song of the Day: What's It Gonna Be - Janet Jackson ft Busta Rhymes

Let's Just Have a Party, Me and You.....
Dear Retail,
I heard you've been sick lately. Some say it's the cancer, others say it'll pass. Regardless, I still Heart you!! Please get well soon! Sincerely,
IF YOU CAN MAKE IT OUT, RUTHIE LAMB IS HAVING AN IMPROMPTU SHOW AT THE REVERB, THURS NIGHT SEPT 25TH, 8PM! THAT'S TONIGHT! BE THERE TO SUPPORT! I'LL BEE DAT! Check her website on the sidebar links, Ruthie Lamb Rocks!
So the GTA gets approved for $50 Billion, 100 new projects, 25 years, and people are talking about bike paths?? I dunno about you, but in 25 years, weren't we supposed to be in flying cars, and getting ready to exit earth and set up bases on the moon??
Fall TV lineup is out this week and how excited am I that Kumar is on House?? Pretty ironic that his character in Harold and Kumar is fighting becoming a doctor, and here is on House as Dr Lawrence Kutner!! Hilarious! It's like you're just watching for him to spark up a blunt anytime on the show!
Guilty pleasure, Lipstick Jungle is out tonight too. I SO Heart Lindsay Price!! I'm McLovin how this story line is kicking off! Staying Tuned!!
Apparently Jiggaman is ready to unveil a new label venture, "Star Roc" to the world. I tried to told y'alls!!
Staple's got the heads up on the Google G1 phone. I knew it from the beginning...I'll pass, thanks.
Preview of Kanye's "Alligator Boots", his new joint venture with the guys who did Crank Yankers. I dunno, Kanye and puppets....looks like the beginning of the end? Maybe?
I've had a few of these nights in my time before, it's called Fridays! David Spates brings you, "The Snake Pit Bar"! Hilarious!!
Song of the Day: Feel It Boy - Janet Jackson ft Beenie Man
Four More Sleeps, Janet Live in TDot! Katie Lee where are you?? :)

Oooh So In Love, Oooh So In Love, Oooh So In Love, Oooh So In Love.....
Looks like my free advice is starting to pay dividends!! Music companies are looking at ways of marketing music on memory cards, micro SD cards to be exact. Something tells me that some bigwig out there is going to screw up this great idea. Just wait, you'll see!
I just Heart these commercials!!
Boom De Yadda, Boom De Yadda, Boom De Yadda, Boom De Yadda!
Notorious looks like it's ready to roll:
I just wish that they hadn't used the Duran Duran sample, not really a good look.
No offense to my Korean Bredren and Sistrens, but this is just not going to work. Korean pop star BOA (Best of Asia) is coming to the US to try to infiltrate. I'm sorry, but although Asians have had a good crack at crossing over into North American Pop mainstream, that's where the buck stops. We may be good at fashion, design, architecture, automobiles, acting (only recently), countless other areas, but music just isn't something that I think Asians can achieve success crossing over. I'm not trying to down her right from jump, in fact I'll most likely support her, but I'm just saying... Jin, Cory Lee, I'm not even going to go to Edison Chen. Fighting an uphill battle here folks.
S'been a long time since we've heard from Chris Rock, just in time to take a few shots at Bill:
This cat's seen Better Days!! I can't believe he's just sitting there!
RIP Sister Auntie Nora. Wow. Generations come and go, but she was one of the bestest indeed. The angels are having a great party for you as the guest of honor!!

Anytime, Anyplace, I Don't Care Who's Around.....
Had a chance to preview the new Crate and Barrel store in Yorkdale today. Yorkdale is making some major moves lately!! Grand opening on Sept 25th for the general public at large!!

They have fall on Lockdown. Orange, browns, and two floors worth of fun home stuff!

Even the most useless things like pumpkin shaped pumpkin pie trays are here.

Simple, clean, unique, enter at your own credit risk!

Part of the second floor takeover of Yorkdale!!

Yes, the other half is right above Hugo Boss. Not bad for neighbors!

I can see the ladies drooling right now, don't get any on your keyboards!!

Martini shakers! How did they know? I LOVE my Grey Goose! Why yes, I'll have two of them!!
If you're Canada Goose and you're played out in your home country, what do you do next? Go to Japan, of course!
There's nothing like Flirxting and 80's parties...

That's The Way Love Goes, It Goes, It Goes, It Goes...
Who Turned the COLD Switch On?? Turn it back off!!
Ok, so Week 3 in the NFL brought some pleasant surprises.
-Not so much a surprise, but a sigh of relief, the Seahawks easily beat the Rams as they head into the bye week. Hass looked good with a motley crew of recievers, and Julius Jones, Leonard Weaver, and TJ Duckett had monster days for the 'Hawks. The D and the twelvth man came correct as they always do! Well done boys! Somebody's getting fired in St. Lou...
- The biggest surprise, the Pats and Matt Cassel get beat by Ronnie Brown and the Miami Dolphins! Wow! Who'd have thunk it? The Dolphins winning on the road too! I like the fact now that there will be no undefeated talk for the Pats from here on out.
- The Bengals almost upset the undefeated NY Giants, but came up just short. A good effort, but someone's getting fired in that city as well.
- The Bills almost got upset by a tough Oakland Raider team, but Trent Edwards came in to save the game, coming from behind. Even though the Bills are 3-0, I'm still not convinced, and they're still not in the clear!
- JT O'Sullivan still looks like a hero in SF. He's no Joe 16, but he's getting the job done for now!
- The Colts drop a close one to Jacksonville, as it looks like Peyton still isn't really 100% if you ask me! The Colts go to 1-2 and although it's not quite panic mode just yet, I'm sure there is some concern in Indytown.
- The Bestest Sunday nighter I've seen so far, the Cowboys stay undefeated, and beat the Packers 27-16. Aaron Rodgers comes down to earth, and the Packers D just couldn't keep up, even on home field. Go CowBoys!
Today marks the last ever game to be played in Yankee Stadium. I remember my first time out there (the year is sketchy), and this is way before digicams and Flip Videos. I remember walking through Monument Park and almost crapping my pants. I remember seeing the huge scoreboard as run down as it was and knowing that it was legendary. I remember sitting on the third base line, and everytime Don Mattingly was announced or came up to bat, he got a standing ovation. I remember walking from the concourse to the green of the field, and the magic that baseball keeps bringing to my mind. I remember the Pinstripes won that night, and I now know how the right hue of the Yankee Blue NY New Era cap is more than a logo, more than being a fan. It's an institution. It's a symbol. It's legendary.
This is where I got attacked by another Grey Goose last night. Great party, Greater food. Happy Bday Ryan!! Keep an eye out for Ryan and his budding Catering business! More on that to come in the future, stay tuned!

Where are you Katie Lee??

Where, Where Are You Now.....
World, I would like you to meet my new Wifey, Baby Momma, Soul Sista, Homee, Katie Lee. She's my female pick for So You Think You Can Dance Canada:
Boyes, Dude! Where was SHE on all those Sonar nights??? Cot Daymmmm!
Complex introduces the world to Shontelle Layne. She does strike a bit of a semblance to Ri-Ri, but will find it hard-pressed to carve out her own ID. Rap-Up brings you her first video, "T-Shirt". I dunno bout y'alls, but I just HATE it when my girl stretches my T-shirts out of shape like that, I don't care! Just don't stretch out the Ralph tees! That's what they made Vicky's Secret Sleep Tee Shirts for!!
Travis Barker and DJ AM's plane went down today over Columbia, SC. Shame, sad shame, but I hope they make a full recovery. Pce to the 4 other people including the pilot who never made it out alive.
Somebody needs to tell Bow Wow to put his shirt back on. Didn't your mama teach you anything about how to act in front of the camera??
Turns out that the invisibility cloak from Harry Potter is REALLY REAL!!
Song of the Day: Where Are You Now - Janet Jackson
Where are you Katie Lee???
Bonus Song of the Day: She Got Her Own - NeYo, Jamie Foxx, Fabolous
Bring back the Baby Makin music!! Katie Lee, where are you??

Oops Now, Sorry I Can't Go Now.....
Today was a good day........

Even the Station on St Clair and Dupont was closed because they ran out of gas!!
NKOTB were in town last night at the ACC. Yah, I knew you really cared. No, I wasn't there. Really, I wasn't.
Looks like the Blog-o-sphere has nixed Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates' ad campaigns. You decide for yourself:
Churros:
New Family:
I say "Boo". But there's hope!! PC fights back, with Pharell Williams, Eva Longoria, etc.
This is way funny, the art of movie posters, floating heads, and three heads are better than one:
Brought to you by Jeff Staple.
Yet MORE shots at Sarah Palin by College Humor:
You MUST READ Margaret Cho on Sarah Palin...M-Cho Rawks!!
Objexts of My Affliction: I still so Heart Y-3.
Lusting Still: Megan Fox!!

So We Can Dance All Through the Night.....
2009, My birthday, we're all going to Disneyland!! For invites, leave a comment and your email and I'll send you the E-Vite!!
Honda Canada steps up to the plate and signs the Toronto Indy for multi years!! Well done! I can't wait for Civic Nation to take over the streets next July!
The Toronto Zoo's Rhino passed away yesterday afternoon. I love zoo's and all, but what the hell is a white rhino doing living in TDot?
Are you still getting annoying calls from Telemarketers? Two possible solutions: (1) Register yourself for the National Do Not Call List put out by the CRTC. (2) Try this, brought to you by Jeff Staple:

How many Times I gotta tell y'all? PUFFY = POISON!! And who can't open a carton of Tropicana OJ properly? And who puts OJ on their Fruit Loops??
You need to re-up on your Pro Activ subscription Mr Puff.
Ok, you wanna play gunshots while riding in a jeep? Need I remind you about your so-called best friend Biggie?? Puffy = Poison.
Josh Howard should have taken a contract to go play in Russia.
Asa's got his two cents to say about it all:
I say Ditto.
Just too dang funny! Another shot at Sarah Palin, from College Humor!

This poor girl was in line ahead of me at Wendy's. The Burberry bag looked authentic enough, so I gave her brownie points for that (plus she was at Wendy's!), but the Skechers shoes?? Buzzzzz!!! No way hosay! Don't worry girl, you'll get there, one day, hopefully sooner than later!

One of the best, eye catching, attention captivating windows I've seen on Bloor St in almost forever!

The ROM from a distance. Cool.

The graf boys were inhaling the vapors for the Manifesto Festival 2008. Yay for DJ Premier and Pete Rock, plus the live DJ on the corner of Bloor and Queen's Park. Boo for no screenings of Planet B-Boy. C'mon now y'alls!! See more below

Objexts of My Affliction: Again, another reason why Jordan Brand is milking the younger generation out of all their loot, the Jordan Retro 1 Velcro. No no no, Sneakers have laces, always have, always will! Lusting: Nadine Velasquez!! I slept badly on that one, cuz I LOVES My Name Is Earl!!
Song of the Day: Come On Get Up - Janet Jackson
Row 11 Floor seats, soon coming!

It's Cuz Of Love We'll Never Part.....
New Link added on the right hand side! Ruthie Lamb is up and coming, and Canadian Talent! Listen to that voice, hear those words, and she's eye candy for days!! Stay Tuned y'alls....Don't Sleep!!
This is why I HEART Margaret Cho! Keep on keepin' on my Asian Sista!! Amen!
Sure, Aubrey O'Day is hot, but what else can she do? Don't matter, just sit there and be Hot Aubrey!
My early pick for So You Think You Can Dance Canada:
Taeyeon TK Kim
There's another girl from MTL that I liked also, but I'll grab that clip for tomorrow.
Looks like Michael McCain of Maple Leaf foods took some advice! He looks good in a suit, he doesn't completely look like he's reading the teleprompter, and he sounds semi-sincere!
WOW, Maple Leaf must have one Reeeeaaaally good PR agency! Holes, holes, holes!
Daily dose of Asa Thibodeaux:
Song of the Day: Because of Love - Janet Jackson
Row 11 Floor seats, soon come!!
SPOILER ALERT!! Behind some scenes at the Janet show in Vancity brought to you by none other than JD:
Bonus Song of the Day: Addicted - Ryan Leslie (Alternate Version)
Doesn't Ryan Leslie just look like Marques Houston's older brother?? C'mon now.

And I Just Know We'll Have a Good Time.....
What a Wild and willy Monday Night Football! The CowBoys beat the rival Eagles 41-37, but the story behind the story was intense! Boo on ESPN analysts for Thrashing T.O. on the air! What the fcuk is that all about? Ditka and Keyshawn Johnson should be shot for slaughtering Terrell Owens live on the air. Guess what #81's line was for the night? 3 catches, 89 yards, 2 TD's. Guess what, if he hadn't scored the two TD's and got doubled most of the night, the CowBoys don't even come close! So maybe he's not the Best team guy, but he has a home here in Big D! Booo on ESPN. Otherwise, was a legendary game to watch, the last Monday Night Football in Texas Stadium, and Boyes...We Could Have Been There! Argh!! Next time...
Watch out y'alls!! Philippino Basketball is on the rise!!
If you suffer from a simple leg pain, GET IT CHECKED OUT!! Don't want anyone to pass away from Pulmonary Embolisms!! That's just not right.

Tough Bleeding Love, Because I Can.
Ok. Got a box of love in the mail today, and I have to be blunt. I was very eager in the beginning, but like a Hollywood movie, was let down HUGE in the ending. Here is the box calling my name:

Yes, those are my AJ5's in the background, currently in rotation, and Dunk Hi's for picking up the mail.

Awww yah, SCORE! Fresh out the Box for the second time!

Gotta love how these guys operate. Just a Gang-Load of decals to paste all over my belongings, the neighborhood, cable boxes, and miscellaneous other conspicuous places!

First up, the plastic snap back hat. No logo on the back, what gives? Shoddy embroidery job on Adam, and the lettering was off a bit also. Authentic green under brim is a nice touch also. No worries, I'll still wear it.

By far, FABRIC-wise the best piece of the bunch. Disappointingly 80/20 Cotton poly though. Fabric is peached with a nice hand, and the back was not flatback, boo. Logo is screen printed, which is ok, and no logo's on the back, what gives? The side pockets are Way disappointing here as it looks like they were just cut by an exacto knife instead of laser or at least finished on the edges. Still matches my Jordan's in Green and orange, but still...

I'm about to coin the phrase "Logo Abuse"

Logo Abuse = when your brand, your concept is more powerful than the items themselves. Thus, your placement of your logo's on your product ends up not standing for quality any longer and not what your brand was built on, but merely a signifier of where the product profits go towards. Or just plainly abusing your logo because you're Hot.

Nice touch. Classic, noticeable, refined embroidery work.

Overall construction, not good. Fabric felt like cardboard, no collar stays (annoying), embossed buttons (which are a great thing), otherwise, I might just hang out on a rainy day with this one. The worst part about this piece is that it's 65/35 Poly to Cotton!! You could find better stuff at H&M! Wow. Touched the hot stove on this piece.

This was supposed to be the key piece of the bunch, but just regular flat 80/20 fleece, no flatback which sucks because it'll leave little black lint balls all over the shirt underneath it. The 3D embroidery is QUITE IMPRESSIVE, and the kangaroo pocket save the piece from being tossed in the "Burn" pile. Or worse, the "Salvation Army" pile. My next free advise, Flatback V-Neck, 3D embroidery, Kanga pocket, logo on the sleeve cuff, and at a side seam jock tag. Size Large all colors please, Bobby!

Nothing will ever NEVER beat the Enyce 18 pin wale Microcords from 2002, but these were a good stab at it. Slim fit, so that's a plus, the fabric needed a few more washes and a softer loft would give it a luxurious feel for fraction of the price. Some Jags embroidery would be hot here on a pocket or back yoke. The embossed button is hot, but industry norm nowadays. The coin pocket/lighter pocket is also well done, deep, and non-obtrusive. The Jags pattern on the inside are a nice touch, but still have a ways to go.

This was the only sign of Jags on the outside. Subtle. Now I'm out to have to get the damn things hemmed!
Below is a movie of the details above. I can't go anywhere without my Flip!!

Overall, was excited as a highschool girl at a Jonas Brothers show, but 15 mins later, was about to slip my wrists with the boxcutter!! I got mad love for these guys and what they are all about. They still have a long ways to go to get there, and I'm with them for the whole journey. I guess it's love, tough love, but if they are going to be in the game, you GOT to bring your game. Otherwise, you'll be swimming with the fishes!!

I'm Rushin Home, Just As Soon As I Can.....
Had a chance to attend the Grand Opening of the Bath and Body Works at Yorkdale Mall tonight. Don't ask me why. It was fun to see all the hoopla though, and be in attendance at a Grand Opening event again! Witness the chaos:

Great design within the store, and the layout itself was well done. Merch'ed by commodity, by fragrance, by price, and even by color! Things were triple and quadruple posted, so it was hard to miss anything! Even the pictures above each bin were pretty inspiring.

The place was PACKED. 90% womens in attendance, but you could imagine they also packed it up full of staff for the opening night! They even had a door greeter who was useless because the place was overflowing already. Poor girl was so tongue tied trying to explain the most complex opening night promotion I've ever heard.

Me and this poor dude just looked at each other with the...yah right. You got suckered in too? Uh huh. Meanwhile, womens frantically around us were grabbing bottles of stuff, jammed into their shopping bags.

I've seen this girl somewhere before, I swear. She's saying, "Homee, where are you?"

"Stress Less" Yes, wise words we all should live by!

One complaint, the staff were trained to help people, NOT to sell product. So all I heard for 50 minutes was "Can I help you find anything?", "Are you finding everything ok?", "Have you heard about the promo?" NO, NO, and NO. Does that help? Poor, poor sales training techniques. Tsk tsk tsk. Ask me how they can better that.

All the Big Wigs from New York even came down for the opening. I got a chance to talk to their CFO, and their Merch Manager, didn't help that I was in my Terrell Owens Thanksgiving Day Cowboys jersey, but they appreciated my feedback and free advice. Then I handed them a card and told them that if I talk any more, I'd have to start billing them!

Too bad they haven't invented smell-o-vision yet! The sights, the sounds, the smells, it was all really really well done for their company! AND they even had par US pricing to boot!

Stay tuned Toronto, Crate and Barrel right across the hallway opening 9/25. S'gonna be a RIOT!! The flow of traffic in the mall just completely changed back over again.

This is me after smelling 59 different Bath and Body Works products.

Steven, someone beat us to the punch! Cot dammit!! Hahahaha!
Brought to my attention by Big Time W: Merrill Lynch gets bought out, AIG is having an asset sale, and Lehman Brothers are filing for Bankrupcy!! Looks like Wall Street is taking one to the bollocks!! Ouch! Ever get the feeling that Armageddon is upon us??
Retail News Flash: Sears has a brand new brand in Mens called Distinction. I knew your reaction would be the same as mine. Basically looks like it's going to replace Protocol, but with a bit of an older feel.Next. Now back to your regularly scheduled blog reading. No wait, funny story about Sears, Sept 15th and they get hit HARD with a bunch of outerwear. Ok, not quite outerwear weather, but retail sucks and their product cycle sucks also. So this poor lady has 12 rolling racks chocked full of jackets that she's trying to get on to the floor as I sit, watch, giggle, watch, laugh, watch, snicker, and finally walk away shaking my head. If you've ever been in a Sears store, you know that there's no room for anything on the floor, nevertheless 12 rolling racks full of winter jackets. Will retail Never learn??
Target wins the chance to name the Minnesota Twins new baseball park! Guess what they named it? Target Field! How cot dam original!!
I tried to told you to get OFF of Facebook!! Now look, new employers are using Facebook as a way of screening potential new hires!! You better delete those pics of you praying to the porcelain gods from last weekend!!
Don't call it a comeback! Bedbugs are back, apparently. Yikes! I hate bugs!!
Happy BDay to Marcus Troy! Welcome to the old man club, kid! Let me know when you're recovery time from parties starts slowing down, and muscles that you never knew you even had start to ache!
This girl is just Killing me right now! Dude, check out that accent!! I'm in LUST!
Objexts of My Affliction: If you are in the Central Hong Kong area until Sept 30, go check out the Murakami exhibit!! I already have it planned out, the prints in the hallway, the LV Camo print in the vault, the googley eye print in the bathroom, and the Dob print in the rec room! Oh yah, and there's now Murakami x Levi's Fenom denim jeans now too! I take a Size 34 please!! I still Lust Megan Fox!! Lusting: Olivia Wilde too!

They Said It Wouldn't Last, We Had To Prove Them Wrong....
No comment on Week 2 football. Who am I joking? Of course, here's my three cents worth (Inflations plus GST, plus they are shiny pennies!):
-Seahawks 0-2. They are going to miss the playoffs. I am going to keep cussing at my TV. They have a total of 5 injured receivers, one of which is their backup QB (Burleson, Branch, Engram, Seneca Wallace, Logan Payne). Just disgusting. I peeked at the Free agent remaining list and it's SLIM pickins right now (Troy Brown, Tim Carter, Eddie Drummond, Tim Dwight, Bryan Gilmore, Mark Jones, Eddie Kennison, Michael Lewis, Keenan McCardell, Aaron Moorehead, Eric Moulds, Troy Walters). I KNEW they should have never let DJ Hackett go!! Boyes, I haven't burned the jersey yet, but it's getting awfully close to the flames!
-One jersey about to get burned, #84, Bengals. WTF are they running in Cincy? 0-2 and they LOSE to Kerry Collins? Puhhh-leeeeze!! Cincy and the Redskins are the WORST best teams that I've seen in a long time! At least Washington is 1-1 now!
-Speaking of 0-2, the Chargers are 0-2. How can you be 0-2 with LaDanian Tomlinson?? I just don't understand that. Philip Rivers is better than that, definitely better than that. I guess if you give up 65 points in two games, you better score 66 or more.
-Aaron Rodgers 2-0, and he's LIGHTING up the stat sheet! Good for him! It could have been much worse, but I'm really happy for him! nice work. Watch out for Green Bay, they have a pretty easy schedule this year!
-REALIZE THIS, if Favre was still on waivers, or even at backup, the Patriots with their situation with Brady out for the season could have signed or made a monster deal to get Favre and marched right back to the Superbowl!! Weird. Instead, backup Matt Cassel gets the job done, beating Favre and the Jets, to go 2-0.
-The Colts were THIS CLOSE to being 0-2 also. Peyton brings them back from 15 points down, and hey, it was the Vikings.
-The Bills are 2-0, hurrah. I'm not a fan yet, I'm not convinced.
-Monday Nighter should be a classic Doozy!! Go Cowboys! I've got my Terrell Thanksgiving Day jersey warmed up, ironed out, ready to Go!!
Seems like posts are playing ketchup lately. This was the Sept 6th Importfest 2008 show in Toronto, edited Homee-style. Thanks to Isaac Adams-Hands for the hooks. Congrats to Irene Gee for winning top show girl!

Ok, so there were cars, lots of cars, some hot, some not, like the following:

Some girls forgot their hair straighteners at home.

Well Hello there! "Do you know that guy Homee? Is he here yet?"

Paz, is that you? Nawww!!

Deanna and friend. "Like, just click the damn picture already, like y'know!"

This is the same Wolverine bike I saw at Driftmania. Good to know that it never left the city.

And Hello there. Is this gig getting you through school?

This dude was trying to be Jin the MC, no wait! He IS Jin the MC! These asians, I'm tellin' ya!

"Tee shirts! Getcha tee-shirts heeeah! Tee-shirts!!"

"Like y'know, theses cars are so hawt! I wonder where Homee is?"

Should've gone with the Mortal Kombat motif. Tsk tsk tsk.

Spidey taking in the vaporz.

"I'm soooooo tired! I wann'go home now!"

Importfest indeed. Imported cookies f.o.b.!!
