All in all, a great trip back home by any means!

I had to do laundry right away, and some weird things started happening today. I saw this dude running full sprint with his kid in a stroller, chasing down a bus, and a cigarette in his hand. Uhhh, drop the smoke dude!!
The other weird thing was the lineup of Holiday Hams at the Flip Barrio Fiesta. No joke, there was about 20 hams lined up ready to be picked up, I felt like slipping one under my North Face!
I had to start Old Faithful to see if it was still running, and sure enough, she kept right on Ticking! Huurrraaahhh!

Then I had to check the 4100 emails waiting for my attention. The best of which was this:

Thanks to you too, Michelle, Barack, and Family.

If you haven't already noticed, I'm heading out to Cousin Rich's party at the showroom! Details are at the top of the blog. If you're not there, I certainly hope you're in a safe, warm, alcoholic place full of friends, fam, and loved ones.

I really hope she's gonna be there too!

You Are the Sunshine Of My Life, That's Why I'll Always Stay Around.....

Monday Morning Quarterback: Week 17.
All I really have to say is ... Wade Phillips, really? 44-6? Did you even need to get out of bed on Sunday? Really? 44? 6? WTF?
AFC playoffs look like such: Indy vs San Diego, BMore vs Miami. Tennessee and Pittsburgh get the Byes.
NFC playoffs look like such: ATL vs Zona, Philly vs Minny. NY Giants and Carolina get the Byes.
I'd love to see the Giants repeat, but there are so many mini-stories happening within these playoffs also! It definitely won't be one dull playoff season this year!

Thanks Dana for the Mango Crepes from Sun Sui Wah! On our way to YVR and the snow is FINALLY melting! Go figure that the day we leave, Vancity Finally gets Vancity type weather. Bah Humbug!

Of course there's an Olympic Store in YVR. I almost bought myself a Vancouver 2010 luggage tag, but for $12, I'd rather get the mini tin of pringles and a beer on the flight. Priorities, eh?

These guys are raking in the dough by default, but I have some ideas to improve business a bit. If anyone is connected to these guys, tell them to gimme a shout!
The funniest things were happening at YVR before our flight. The flight was oversold because they downgraded to a smaller plane, and the couple beside us volunteered to sit in the lounge for 1.5 hours, get a complimentary upgrade to business class and sit in the new Star Trek pods, to take the later flight.
Then they announced "Bueller, party of two, Bueller" and almost everyone who was an 80's baby started laughing hysterically. Safe to say, they were still trying to find "Bueller" for a long while! Then they called for "Boner, would passenger Boner please report to the desk." More hilarity ensued! We were all looking for Bart Simpson I swear!

The Western Canadian Winter Tundra. I think I actually see some dogsled tracks down there!

What a surprise when I got home! Capital M got me a TeraByte drive! Sweet ass! Now I can back up my whole life plus one more forever on this thing! Wait a sec, what if your TeraByte drive crashes?? Then what? OH the Humanity of it all!! Merry Christmas indeed!

Cuz I'm Being Taken Over By The Fear.....

Last day in Vancity and the weather didn't let up one bit. Rain, freezing rain, snow, bring it! Just Bring It!

I remember the Grey Days, and I really don't recall how I got passed them. No wonder people really do suffer from Weather Supercell Deprivation Syndrome!

Got together at Kirin in Cambie Plaza for some Dam Good Dim Sum! YanMan, Sylver, M, Homee, and Ishak came out!! (Toodles came out for a second appearance too!)

YanMan, S.Tan, BabyCam, M, BboyBoyes, Homee. Sorry for the blurriness, but the guy who took the pic was extremely hungry and trembling from the malnutrition.

My ole High School again! I remember yelling from the third floor window to the seniors across the street first class in the morning, "Don't Jump! It's not worth it, don't jump!" Ahhh, the good ole days.

Jumped over to Brentwood to see TBone. Another piece of the famous (infamous) Sonar Crew.
Made a quick stop at one of the up and coming stores in the city: Headquarter. They now have TWO locations in Vancity, and are starting to gain some momentum! I picked up a tee from WrongWorks, and always like to reward stores who are really doing it by at least making one purchase from their product pool.

Then we jumped home to pick up the Niece and Nephew to go see "Bedtime Stories"

For a holiday family movie, it was actually pretty good! It's ironic how many Hollyhood actors are now trying to get their hands into some Disney money in these tough economic times!

After the movie, headed to Brown's in Richmond for some good grub. Cousin Mike and Liss were there with Baby Hudson. Mike's my age, and we went through alot growing up together like He-Man, GI Joe, Transformers, Intellivision, Nintendo, and even Playboy!

Niece #1 decided it was time for some silliness.

That's much better! WHY SO SERIOUS???

Homee Luhhhhhs Da Kids!

The waitress wasn't blonde, but she took a pretty blond group shot. Me and Nephew got totally cut out of the pic! WTF?

Ok, three bottles of wine later, and the lights are looking a bit spinny.

This place also has the funniest coasters. Capital M is always a "10" in my books!

Baby Hudson came over to chill at my bro's place also. "Look Dad! They have a TV Remote too! I wonder if it fits in the toilet?"

"Gee Dad, you really aren't going to share that cake with me? WTF?"

Day 18: Complete. Wow, where did all that time go??

I Can Still Recall Our Last Summer, I Still See It All.....

Football Sunday and we are running around like chickens with their heads cut off! I only had time to catch glimpses of a few games, but nothing really life altering.

We had to get boogeying to get out and meet everyone we could. Since the snow has been holding up alot of travel around the city, it was tough to get everyone in one place. The FOG can get really creepy! Remember all the mountain pictures from previous days? Dems Gone!

Wow, I've heard of boing Green, but this is going to drive the environmentalists bonkers! $00.0 and EasyPay!!

We met up with Capital M's Ex-coworkers from St Paul's. This lil guy is Ryan and he was clinging to me the minute I walked in the door! Apparently, he's king of the remote too! Good early start!

Everytime someone scored a TD on TV, we taught Ryan how to do the Touchdown dance! He might not get big enough to play in the NFL, but he certainly can do the TD dance very well!

Phil took the pic, then there's Kiera, Cindy, Matthew, Ryan, Moi, M, Brody, Alby, Hang, and Tyson.

Then we had to race home for dinner with the immediate fam. Niece #2 shows off her best Batgirl impression.

The she proceeded to go around and scare everyone out of their BBQ Ribs.

Yes, the MahJong curse runs well in the family. I decided to finally flex the skills off for the first time in the whole trip to Vancity. I ended up winning 5 games in a row and $15. I hate taking my family's money, I really do. They kicked me off the table after win #5.

Then we decided to RockBand2 it out. Nephew on the drums getting distracted by Gma, My lil sis on lead guitar, Niece #2 on vocals, and Niece #1 on bass guitar.

Then Niece #2 simply HAD to have a turn at the drums. Of course she had no idea what song she was playing, but it sounded really good!

Day 17: Still more runnin' around to go!

Then we ended up watching Mamma Mia, a movie I have No Clue why it was even made into a movie! I haven't seen the Broadway show, but I did grow up listening to Abba when I was a lil Homee.

I'm a Diva, Best Believe-a, You See How She Gettin' Paid.....

Saturday and the day after Boxing Day hangover's snow dump. I played another round of Wii Rock Band 2 with the Niece and Nephew and we're way too good. We tried playing two online Battle of the Band challenges and won both of them! Yep, I rock.
Apparently the news reports confirmed that the retail season just wasn't picking up and people were either shopping for the lowest possible price, or just walking away empty handed.

The weird thing was, this lineup at the Coach store was exactly the same lineup as was on Boxing Day! One day after, and the crazy Asians are still looking for purses!! Duhhh, there's an outlet store on the way to Seattle, people!!

Capital M and I made a stop at Louis to see if they still had any Murakami Camo duffle bags. "Sorry, Aww sowe owt!" Cot Dammit.

Then we fired over to the Gooch to see what's up.

The Olympic Countdown clock is well under way. The other side has the Paralympic countdown clock, so don't get confused if the numbers are different.

The Vancouver Art Gallery has a really cool light show motif at night but the problem was that my flash on my digi cam didn't have the right settings to catch it properly. Yep, time for a new Canon, Santa!

Hermes never really has anything that catches my eye, but we wandered in anyways. I love joking with the sales staff there that I'm going to boost their commission, and then just walk out. Great fun times.

Tiffy's Vancity. Seriously, don't mess around with the security in here. They WILL put you out. Of course, I don't know this from experience, but I have witnessed it. More great fun times!

And of course we had to stop at A.P. Vancity. Captial M spent her gift certificate well! They did mention that they were on plan to open TDot in 2009, so ladies of the Dot, be Aware!!

They really don't allow pics inside, but I really liked this idea of keeping a bird in a birdcage. I think if I won a filthy dirty rich lottery, I would want a bird in a birdcage too. There was no pricetag on the cage, and I asked if it was for sale, and all I got was some giggles. Shout out to Rachel and Tracy!!

Then we fired over to Szechuan Chongqing for some awesome Orange Peel Spicy Beef with the inlaws. These guys have the BEST Orange Peel Beef EVER!!

S'Emma, and S'Emma's mom. S'Emma looks so gosh darn cute in her hat and jacket, which her mom knitted for her!! If you like, S'Emma's mom is taking orders for custom knitted baby wear too! Contact her sales agent Homee for details!!

Day 16: the Home stretch.

When You Lose The One You Wanted, Cuz He's Taken You For Granted, And Everything You Had Got Destroyed.....

Boxing Day, and guess what the weather's like out here? SNOW!!! Crapola. We weren't going anywhere near downtown this year. I think this was the first year ever that I didn't get into Downtown and Robson Street to check out the goods on Boxing Day in Vancity. From all accounts and personal testimonials, I didn't miss too much!! Biggest lineups were at Coach, Armani Exchange, and Aritzia as usual. Too bad though, I still love the thrill of making fun of people who stand in line for Sloppy Seconds!!

Instead, I took Kid Slyther on a World Tour, through 12 cities, 30 some odd venues, and multiple Rock songs that I had no clue what the heck they were.

There's the star attraction, the Lead guitar. My character has a white hockey mask, white afro, and white shirt with red necktie, black blazer, and Japanese Denim. Sounds familiar, no??

Nephew looks pretty worn out. Suck it up kid, it's only a video game! Pick up those sticks!!

I pretty much take all the candid picks with my tongue hanging out, yes.

Then we went back over to Auntie T's house when the snow stopped falling and it was safe to head out. She wanted to have us over for a quieter dinner, so we could talk, gossip, and philosophize about the family's future. She's a good aunt to talk to because she's part therapist and part Crazy lady. She decided that she wanted to have a crack at the Wii, so we started her on the Raving Rabids Rayman game.

Yes, the Toodles Hundreds X Disney tee was out in full effect. Too bad I didn't get a chance to strut it out amongst the sneaker boutiques and the malls. Meh. Someone will see it somewhere and link it up.

Day 15: Pretty much stayed our asses put while the snow dumped on again.

Going through the tunnel to Ladner is easy, it's just that Steveston is the closest to there.

The iPhone now has an iBoobs application from the AppStore??

I love it when Cats get their own way. I miss my baby Leo!!

Song of the Day: If I Were A Boy - Beyonce (AOL Sessions Version)

Sorry, this song has nothing to do with anything in this post, but the Radio in Vancity completely sucks @ss, and this song has been playing about 40 times a day. No kidding.
