On a lighter note, today is the anniversary of my very first day spent in retail. That's right, 12 short years ago, I was borned into the industry that I've grown to love and empassion.
So it was a karma night tonight. The Air Conditioner got installed, so that was a great thing! When you have to deal with a pregnant lady in 30+ degree heat and humidity, the AC was tops on the list this summer! The rocking chair and the baby crib was delivered (it didn't fit inside the Honda Civic, remember?) so that was good also! I had some dinner and then went to work on assembling the crib.
TA DA!! Look at the handywork of this Homee! What a wicked finished product! FAIL!!!
What? FAIL you say? What the heck? Turns out, we bought the WRONG crib! Capital M wanted the one that has the side rail that flips down. They shipped us the WRONG crib! FAIL FAIL FAIL. After all this work, after all this effort, and it's the wrong one. Capital M tried to call Babies R Us to get it all fixed but of course they gave her the run around! Sure, don't let the guy who's spent 12 years in retail handle the RETAIL problem!! Either way, she has to call them back tomorrow to see how it all ends up. Stay Tuned!!
