Music is my life. if I didn't have music in my life, I'm not sure what I would do. I would be in fits. I guess growing up in the generation that I did, I was spoiled enough to witness the transitions, the changes, and the evolution of GOOD music to Great music, to where it currently is. I guess everything has it's cycle, it's time and it's place, and it's end. There are those certain songs though that are just timeless. The ones that can change your life, your mood, your outlook, your filter, your version of the truth, your world around you, and your world inside you. I am certainly not a music connoisseur, but I do know what I like and what I don't like. The fun thing about music is that it's all subjective. You could read reviews, and listen to what your peers think, but in the end, the experience of the song, the melody, the lyrics, the breaks, the emotions that each song evokes is completely and totally subjective to the person who is listening.
Just like how each person never really sees the same color in the same way, no one ever really hears the same song in the same way either. Music changes our lives.

Said it before, and I'll say it again. They'll be playing this at my Funeral!
I still get chills everytime I hear this song, see it performed live, or otherwise.
I STILL listen to this song at least once when I travel by plane.
