Back In School We Used To Dream About This Everyday, Could It Really Happen, Or Do Dreams Just Fade Away.....

Today would mark the third day in a row that I've enjoyed Cupcakes and GreyGoose!! It's starting to be a new fad diet plan!!

I had to stop by the Designer Cookie to pick up a quick six-pack!
Behold!! Here you have two Lime "Calvin Limes" and four Chocolate "Luciano Sobrownie" Cupcakes!

Say it with me now, say it with me, "GET IN MY BELLY!"

Oh, and in case you didn't know, Breakfast today was healthy!

Oatmeal Raisin cookies from Dufflet's Bakeries!!

Today was also a cool day because the Olympic 2010 Torch was passing right by our store!

This was the bus that holds the backup runners, and the people who are up next to carry the torch.


Then came the whole procession that just shut down the whole of Yonge Street.

The excitement builds and the crowd was starting to go wild!

Then rolled in the sponsors: RBC Bank.....

And the Coke truck of course.....

I'm guessing that this RV is for when they have to use the washroom while they're all running on the road??

Then the Torch finally arrived! I have no idea who this was holding the torch as it went by.


And just like that, it came and it went.

And my favoritest news network in the world was covering the whole deal!

Pretty cool considering that there's only so many times in your life that you get to see this live. The last time we would have been able to see it was Calgary in '88. I was way too little to remember anything about a torch relay, but then again, I was probably too busy playing with GI Joe's in the snowbanks.

I know it's not even Christmas yet, but you have to start making your Boxing Day Plans!! When you're all shopped out, go check the boys at Toika Lounge for some cool beats and some good times!
