There May Be Times Some Rain Will Fall, But I Won't Mind It If You're Here WIth Me, Oh We'll Get By And Through It All.....

Finally, I got the chance to face my two bosses at work and needless to say they were not pleased. It was a bit tense at first, and they did try to plea their case, but they would not officially counter-offer for me. They knew they couldn't. And they knew that they would not be able to sway my decision once my mind was made up. It's funny how the chess game has ended up right up to this point. All of what I worked to ensure the secrecy, the maneuvers, and the poker faces.
I realized today that I will miss some of my creature comforts that I've built over the last 10 months:
My Starbucks (and my Starbucks crush), the Timmy's, the Cupcake Shoppe, Dufflet Bakeries and Pastries, the cutee girls walking up and down Yonge and Eg, the Designer Cookie (although I'll be making weekend trips with Baby Brooklyn!), and the comfort of the lunch spots.
I know that I'll inevitably find some new creature comforts, but sometimes just having them in your comfort zone is... well... comforting.
