So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, Goodnight...

Ok, really now. Someone up there needs to stop with the cold dial already, and turn the heat up just a bit! Please! I had to get a move on early today to grab some stuff for Capital M's bday festivities.

The TTC's version of a Mathematics Entry Exam: Duhhh! The answer is "270"!! Ding Ding Ding!

Back in Vancouver, the universal point of reference is the mountains. If you're ever lost, look to the mountains and that's NORTH. In Toronto, we have this. If you can ever find it amidst all the concrete, this is South! Had to run to the Princess of Wales box office to grab the Sound of Music tix. Just as I was about to grab tickets for the Wed night show, the lady beside me asks, "What are the nights that Elicia doesn't perform?" Elicia MacKenzie is the girl who won the CBC contest/reality show, "How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?" to win the lead role in the performance. Nothing against Janna Polzin (the alternate Maria), but if we're going to see the real deal, then we wanted the whole real deal. So for future reference, Elicia does every night except for Tues, Wed, and Sunday matinees. Glad we cleared that up.

So, I had to pick up Capital M's bday stuff as mentioned: Sound of Music Tickets, check. Cupcakes from the cupcake shop, check. Card and candles from Shoppers Scam Mart, check. Stop at the New Era store to spoil my damn self, Whoa wait a second!?!?!? Check!!

New KidRobot at the New Era store!! Lovin it!

This one totally Rawks!

Don't sleep on KidRobot folks! I've been following them from the beginning, and now that they took over the windows at Selfridges & Co... watch out now!

Homee, you got TWO new New Era's? Yup. I dunno why I keep giving into the temptation, but I guess once I'm loyal to a brand, that loyalty's for life. It's not so much that I'm addicted to retail even, they're just "Objexts of My Affliction".

Still KidRobot, I just COULDN'T buy the black and not the RED! Besides, people tell me that I look good in Red! I always thought I looked good in Blue? Go figure.

Anyone who really knows, and the few that have had the chance to witness, know that my New Era game is TIGHT. Not bragging, but 3 XLarge WalMart Tupperware bins solely full of hats, and even then, they're still overflowing... I'm not bragging, really. I'm just saying... You'll be hard pressed to see me in public without a hat on. That's just the way it is I guess.

Back to Capital M's bday... She chose the Keg at Yonge and Eg. I would have chosen the Mansion personally, but she was not in the mood for ghost stories tonight! For anyone that matters, I would NOT recommend this location. It's a franchise, and thus, not a good reflection on what the Keg can really do. The service was crap, and the food was off an assembly line. Meh. Should've gone to the Mansion.....

Cupcake Carnage!! She got me cupcakes from Dufflets for my bday that were HORRID. I get her Cupcake Shoppe cupcakes, and safe to say, there wasn't even a crumb leftover as proof!!

Leonidas was sulking the whole night because (1) he doesn't get to go to Sound of Music with us, (2) he doesn't like the smell Capital M's Bath and Bodyworks Japanese Cherry Blossom gift basket, (3) he didn't get a stitch of the buttercream icing from the Cupcake Shoppe cupcakes. It's ok Leo, I'm sure you'll find some sort of mischief to make up for it.

Like You, I've Been Through Struggles, So Much Stress On My Brain.....

Ok, so the morning starts out with a very disturbing/disappointing email (don't you just HATE it when that happens?) Turns out that Company A has given me an offer, and refused to budge on a few certain issues. Company B emails and says that they are on a hiring freeze for a month. Crap. I know Homee, I know. Everyone in life has a choice. Reluctantly, I choose Company A. I mean, it's not THAT bad. But if I could create my ideal scenario, they would have budged on their end of the offer. So I've accepted Company A's offer, at least for the time being. As my dear friend "Robin" says to me, "THIS TOO SHALL PASS." Yes Robin, it shall.
I do sometimes pray, I'll admit it. I pray to a different god though, and pray for different things. I know Homee, "Be Careful What You Wish For"!! Last time I prayed, I prayed for an Angel to save me, and that was 11 years ago. 11 years later, we are engaged to be married, and it's her Bday tomorrow. I prayed again for help and guidance on my issues at hand with the career dilemma. *Eureka* JAI HO!
Whenever I need to clear my thoughts, and at least organize them, I turn to music. Stevie Wonder, Snoop (Doggystyle), Aaliyah, Dr. Dre, Jay-Z, Anita Baker, and then it hits me.
I haven't yet copped the new Left Eye. "New Left Eye" you say? Didn't she pass away in '02?

"Eye Legacy" is a post-humous recording. Kinda what they did with all the Biggie and Tupac CD's that came out after they passed away, but this was a project that she was already working on anyways. Now there's a voice I haven't heard in a long time, and an opportunity to hear some new/old Left Eye? Sign me up! (I know I know, CD's right? When's the last CD you ever bought?) I'm still on my "808's and AutoTune" Boycott so safe to say Kanye was not my last CD.

Call me nostalgic, but when it's worth it, I'll cop it. Arguments to the contrary can be made I'm sure, but there's still something to be said for supporting an artist for their work, in THIS CASE, supporting the family of an artist that I have truly grown to love.
So I make the trek downtown, and of course there's another protest. Geez, seems that in times when the chips are down, in this time of recession and strife, there's a rally/protest at every occasion.

This one was for the Genocide in Sri Lanka/Tamil. I'm not a big fan of Genocide, so I put in my five mins of "Whoot whoot!" and continued to search for my music.
Best Buy on Dundas? Nope.
Future Shop on Yonge? Nope.
HMV on Yonge? Nope.
Sunrise Records on Yonge? Nope.
HMV in the Eaton Center? JAI HO! Finally! (Shout out to Katie @HMV!)
Paid for my CD, and didn't take a bag. (Because I'm going green, remember?)
So I'm carrying the CD in my hand through the subway, Streetcar, and bus, and people are looking at me like, "Is that really a CD?" I might as well have been carrying a ghetto blaster, or an 8-track of Elvis hits. I did get a few, "Is that a new Left Eye? I didn't even KNOW she had a CD out! Wow!" Feeble Earthlings.....

Come home, and here's the irony of the whole CD ordeal?? I rip it right into my iTunes right away! Funny how life works itself out that way, huh? Don't worry old school loyalists, the CD player still works and has way better speakers than the laptop, I just need this to be portable with me for the next few lifetimes, that's all. Esp with my new career move in Company A... I'll NEED these tunes with me!

I'm not going to give a critical review, or a track by track analysis. Let's just say that if you are a real fan of Left Eye, her flow technique, her metaphors, and hearing a real voice that's actually saying something these days, go cop it. And there's a few surprises on it too! I can't spoil it, cuz then it wouldn't be a "surprise"!! Duhhh! And No, I'm not going to post it on Sharebee, that's not my style Homee! At least this CD purchase has a story behind it.

Just when you thought it was safe to praise the Craptors, they go and lose a crucial game at home!! The Craps lost 96-85 on a very eventful night. Calderon's consecutive Free Throw streak ended at 87, where he ends up second best of all time so far. It was Jermaine the Drain's Bobblehead giveaway night, and JO ends up getting ejected on two technical fouls. Well done, well done! At least CB4 is going to the All Star game right? And JK is defending his 3 point title too, right? *le sigh*

At least there was SOME good sports news today! Congrats to my boy JJ7 for inking a contract extension with the BC Lions! Hopefully this puts some stability in the roster, and JJ will get a chance to utilize his arm and smarts for the Leos. Well done JJ7!

Remember the Cali mother of Octuplets? Turns out she has SIX other kids at home! So that's 14!?!?! FTW? Kate Gosselin finally pipes up and offers a wee bit of advice and parenting tips. Wow, the Gosselin kids are 8 and 4 now? Where does the time go?? Oh and Kate, the lady has SIX other kids, I'm sure the advice is already being followed somehow! (14 > 8) :P

A Pay As You Go Blackberry? Cot Dammit, why does the UK and Asia have all the smart stuff before North Americans?? We're already paying the world's highest rates for cel phone rates and usage on the whole globe! How dumb is that?? Argh.

Looks like my girl Christina Milian is clouded by the industry yet again. Rumors abound that Christina's new "man" is The Dream - Terius Nash. Now Xtina, how you gonna go and date a dude named Terry? Or worse yet, The Dream? C'mon now.....

Watch where you're putting that hand, mister!

Now you KNOW Homee Jr is going to be stuntin like this is his/her car seat!!

But my Homee Jr will be listening to something MUCH better like Jay-Z!!

Hey BOYES! Look what I found:

YouTube Live hosted some of the Planet B-Boy kids! I think you're head slide is still more legendary than that kid's, but of course I'm biased! I need to hit up a live event sometime soon!
Speaking of which, remember this???

Free Agents ft DJ Kemo - Clash of the Titans

JeffStaple is now on Twitter, here's his take on the whole issue:
"I recently started a Twitter account and I'm really into this method of short burst communications. Many people ask me why I don't link my Twitter and my Blog. In other words, why don't I tweet that I just updated my blog. Consider me old school. I feel like different forms of communication should be left separate. I notice many people want the opposite. I see people asking for full integration of their Facebook, AIM, Twitter and SMS accounts. I'm not one of them. Here's what's great about Twitter: You have 140 spaces in order to craft a feeling, thought, or visceral nuance. It's technological haiku. It's intriguing even to read the tweets of people I don't know. Here's what sucks about Twitter: (And I know this is gonna hurt a lot of people) But I hate it when people only tweet replies to other people. Their entire twittering life is having personal conversations with other people. Or people who just throw links as tweets all day. In my mind, if you want to have a conversation with someone, email them! Call them! Need something more direct? Then SMS or AIM them! Twitter ain't meant for this! Want to share a dope website of something you found online? Blog it! Twitter is like the digital version of PostSecret. Let's try and keep it that way."
I've always looked up to Jeff as a guru of sorts, but in the end, we're all just trying to find meaning and purpose in this wild and wacky thing we call LIFE. I always appreciate his perspective of "things". "Technological Haiku"... priceless!

Erryone knows I luvs my Cat videos!! Here's the Kittens Roomba Royal Rumble:

The last one on is the Winner!!

Yes, it's Superbowl Weekend! Courtesy of BoingBoing, here's all the SuperBowl logo's for those true blue fans:

Superbowl XLI, that's me! That's me! For those who don't know, XLIII is "43".

I'm kinda getting stoked about Coraline's premiere moreso than the "He's Just Not That Into You" premiere. Here's my ode to HollyHood movies lately:

I call it, "The Curious Coraline Case of Benjamin Buttons"!! Love it? Like it? Hate it? BTW, if anyone has a heads up on those Coraline Dunk Hi's, size 8's, let a Homee know!!

Objexts of My Affliction: Sony and SanDisk are working on a 2TB Memory Stick? SIGN ME UP! You could store four lifetimes on that thing!
This is one video camera I'd rather have my hands on!! This could beat out The Flip as the coolest video cam yet? I wonder if they have and HD version??
For all my DJ readers out there, UrbanOutfitters has a mini speaker that doubles as a turntable! It scratches and adds sound effects too! Shweeet!

So good to hear your flow again, my friend. Rest In Peace.

The Green Doesn't Symbolize I Made It On Top.....

The "Dig a Hole, Fill a Hole" guys came through at 7am. And they filled the hole as promised. Look at that workmanship! How hard could it be to fill a hole with rocks and sand? I need to rethink my career options, obviously.

I love when you go to FailBlog.org and something FINALLY makes you get up and laugh:

In case you missed it, the dude in the background almost made my cereal milk come out of my nose this morning!!

The NBA announced the All Star Reseves for the All Star Game in Phoenix. Congrats to CB4, Chris Bosh for making it yet again onto this year's AS East Squad. Other reserves are for the East: Chauncey, Jameer Nelson, Rashard Lewis, PPierce, Joe Johnson, Danny Granger, and Devin Harris.
The West reserves are: David West, Dirk, Pau Gasol, T.Parker, Brandon Roy, and Shaq-Attaq.
Should be a fun game this year with Shaq and Kobe back on the same squad. Can you foul your own teammate??

Oh lawd, has the off-season gotten off to a crappy start already? Turns out that VH1 has 'given' Terrell his own reality show. Awesome. So his 'best friends' and publicists will be his 'matchmakers and therapists' as they go through some Zany adventures I'm sure!? Terrell, whatever you do, don't go shooting yourself in the club, don't go getting pulled over for picking up a Tranny prostitute, and please oh please don't go to Tony's house parties and try on Jess's shoes! Umm, wouldn't he be better suited spending the off-season running cleverer routes and patterns?? Cot Daym, Terrell.

So you think that corporate Amurrica still doesn't care or watch about downloading and song leaks? Think again. Billboard is watching leaks and bootlegs with a very close eye. Maybe not Big Brother, but it's good to know who's wising up and who's still dusting off the vinyl plaques.

Eww Eww Eww! Speaking of Won Ton Wednesdays, the Loblaws at Dupont and Christie was shut down because of a RAT infestation?? Word? Goes to show you that No Frills isn't really the "low end" part of this company!! Holy Grossness Batman!

Now some of you know how much I love retail, so when I saw this article, I was Super Excited! "Retail - Innovate or Die" What? That's EXACTLY how I feel about this recession business! It's such an exciting time to be a savvy consumer right now! Then I read the fine print at the bottom, and it's a trailer ad for consultants and designers to be pimped!! Cot Dam pimps trying to pimp the game! I know, don't hate the player, but why not? I might have to put TheCoolHunter.Net on boycott! Nahhhh.

Starbucks is still not done with all the recession blahs. First quarter profit falls 69%, another additional 300 stores to close, and 6,700 more jobs lost. Wow, d'you think they might consider lowering prices as well? And even yet more and more layoffs at Boeing and AOL, etc etc.

BBerry Messenger conversation with my beloved dear Brother on last night's Duke Loss:
Homee: Are you watching THIS GAME??
Bro: I'm at soccer practice (he coaches), it's on the Tivo, leave me alone.
3 hours later...
Bro: Fcuk!
Homee: I know, a layup!?!?!?
Bro: G lost his guy on the inbounds.
Homee: And how often does THAT happen? Crap.
Homee: They even did an awesome job of keeping Teague in check but still no W.
Bro: I don't think we played well enough to win. Tried hard but didn't play well.
Bro: I think Scheyer is hurt. We're not getting much from him these days.
Homee: Could be. In the end, we still need a big man. Zoubek is as useful as a pilon.
Homee: This Mason Plumlee kid better be the real deal!
Bro: I tried to told you.
Ahhhh, the older brother's wisdom strikes again.

Dudes/Dudettes, the Terminator is closer to a reality than you think:

"Why won't he just stay dead??? ARGH!!!" *firing useless bullets in the sky*

Gotta give a big shout out to some Twitter peeps that have been holdin it down and keeping me amused:
@Toflo
@Aimeemabelle
@Bennybing
@RoShine
@YoungFreshNew
@BrokenCool
@Inflekt
(I think I have to say what all the HollyHood speechwriters say here) I know there are some I most likely forgot, and I apologize in advance. These bunch just stick out right away. If you feel the need to get your Twitter on and poppin', add these folks, and let the laughs and smiles start comin'! Otherwise, the social experiment continues.... thanks to BennyBing for the live coverage!

These are way TOO Funny!! GregAndLou bring you: Rejected Superbowl Memories:

Are you pumped up for Super Sunday yet? Are you? I still remember my trip to Florida for Superbowl XLI. Still got the tee shirt too! Bears vs Colts. Peyton was the man. Ahhhhh GOOD TIMES!

Uhhhh Tracy "Ice T" Marrow, Law and Order SVU came calling:

They wanna make "Cop Killer" the new theme song! Da Har Da Har Da Har!!

Happy BDay Uncle Carol!! Holy Camoly, 30 years already!! S'all good, enjoy it, because next year, you're 21 Forever!! Party hard out in Vancity, and don't fall in the ditches in Ditchmond!! :)

Wait A Minute Double Check, Forgot the Baseball Hat....

Yup, the hole is still there, but it got TOTALLY snowed over! Yup, buckets and buckets of snow today!

I wonder if I could fit any of the neighborhood kids in that hole? Now, how the HECK do the "Dig a Hole, Fill a Hole" guys get down there with all that snow inside??

Yup, I braved the elements to get to Won Ton Wednesday!! Nothing was stopping me today. I'm a Trooper!

I know, I know, I'm totally against taking food pics, but for all those interested, this is what Won Ton Wednesdays usually look like! Carnage!!

Did someone say BBQ? The reason why I like this Won Ton Wednesday spot is that there are NEVER any rats in the windows here! Completely clean, and Ratatouille-free!!

S'gonna be a b*tch to get Ole Faithful out of this one...

ATTENCHUN VANCOUVERITES!! The Twilight movie sequel "New Moon" is doing a casting call in Vancity!! I say, BE THERE with bells on! If anone makes it thru, let me know!

CRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAPCRAP! The #1 Dukies lost a nail biter to the #4 Wake Forest Demon Deacons in Winston-Salem 70-68. The Devils lost it on a last second Layup! C'mon now! We needs to get back some interior defense and a reliable big man in the middle. It just hasn't been the same since Shelden Williams. Duke was down by five at the half, and battled back hard. Team shooting was down, and despite 22-13 from Singler and 20-7 from Henderson, it was Wake's size that was too big tonight. Teague only put in 11-3-2 and was 4/14 from the field. Too bad Dukies, but we still got Virginia at home on Sunday. Crap!

The Raptors won their third game in a row! A close 107-106 win in NJ over 'he who shall not be named' and the Nets. The Raps end up shooting 56% from the field, which is great, but very very very out of the ordinary! The unlikely star for the Raps? A.P. who put in 20-5-5 and 7/12 from the field. Well done Mr Parker, well done!

Kanye West would like to help you out with some Valentine's Day shopping! He's offering a Bracelet, some Kanye Shades, 2 8x10 pictures of himself, a poster, and a Fruit of the Loom tee shirt with a heart on it, all for the low low bundle price of $50! Git your garbage outta here, Yeezy! C'mon now!
The only worse V-Tine's Day present I ever got, I broke up with the girl over it!! Those who know, KNOW! Hahaha!

This looks like something I WOULD do!!!

I think I wanna run to my neighborhood McD's, and get started on this!! *Printing Forrest Gump picture now*!! Courtesy of Zoomdoggle.

Yep, it's a trend. Best Buy just announced that February was going to bring even more layoffs. The number is yet to be determined, but at least they'll be Add Imagegetting six month severance packages. I heard that the round of layoffs in Jan were quite colder than that! Like, here's your two months, and have a nice life!

Ever wonder why some cars just get stopped and some never do? Besides the fact that you're a visible minority and a prime target by the Po-Po, here's a good list of what NOT to buy for your next car/rental. I dunno aboutchu, but I'm sure as hell NEVER going to drive a SCION! What??

If you own a Toyota Yaris, Bring it back. I feel bad for you if you have to drive a Yaris in the first place, but I would rather you bring it back. Better that than having your seat belt catch of fire, and your tailpipe just cracking for no reason!! YIKES!

British Airways is going to allow In-flight texting? Weird. The catch is that you have to fly business class, and London-JFK direct which only has 32 seats on it. Urgh. When will these companies ever learn??

Koch Records is now going to be known as E1 Entertainment. Thank you, come again!

CNet provides a really good review of the new Blackberry Curve 8900. I was thinking that I might want to pick this up, but I might just wait it out (again) for the update to the 8800. I wanna keep the global phone capabilities, but I also want the 3G network. Argh. RIM, why do you tease me so??

This is really interesting and cute at the same time. Tyanna and CJ Wallace recorded some of their video chats together:

Courtesy of Miss Info.

Uhhhh T.I., what the heck are you fishin for down there? I love the dude in the back with his Flip Camera catching the whole ordeal! Really now? I'm NEVER giving another rapper daps, pounds, any hand touching ANYMORE EVER! Ewwwwww!

Objexts of My Affliction:
WOWZERS!!

GirlSkateboards brings you "Where The Wild Things Are" Skate Decks! WOW! These would look great up on Homee's wall of Fame!
Leapfrog puts out the Baby Blackberry!! I NEEDS to get me one of these. Not for me, SILLY RABBITS! For Jr Homee!

Happy BDay G.Wong! Keep doin what you do, and I'll meet you when the paths keep crossing!

RIP Allen Chonn. Today is gonna be the day that they're gonna throw it back to you. By now you should've somehow realized what you gotta do. I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do about you now. Rest in peace, officer and gentleman.

You Say To Me I Don't Talk Enough, But When I Do, I'm A Fool.....

Ok, so the morning started out with some drilling, jack hammers, and really loud banging at 7am. FTW? Stupid City of Toronto and their "Dig a Hole, Fill a Hole" make-work projects...

This my friends, is a Glorious Hole, dug RIGHT out in front of our Front Door! No kidding, it's one step right out front of our door! They didn't even put up a warning or yellow tape, just these stupid traffic cones!

I tried to convince the neighborhood kids that is was the same hole that Alice used to get to Wonderland. Fail! Then I figured, I should tell them something that relates to their age bracket, so I told them that it's the way to get to Narnia! Fail!

Then the "dig a hole, fill a hole" guys show up and lord only knows what they were doing down there. This one guy sat in the hole for a few hours. The guy on top was smoking a cigarette in the freezing cold, and there was yet another supervisor on ground level who was just chillin. I need to find a job like that.

This is most likely some sort of record holder for the world's biggest/longest Icicle. Seriously, it goes all four floors high, and would most likely skewer about twenty people at the same time!

Cakes are getting a lil bit too weird for me lately. Dig this Nintendo NES cake! I seriously still have this system in the Vault somewhere! I put it next to the Wii, it's amazing how far we done came!! Wowzers.

Latika!

Yup, I'm still on a bit of a slumdog high lately. This is Freida Pinto, and yes she's HAWT. (pic courtesy of Oli)

I really do just LOVE it when an ad campaign/photoshoot comes together the RIGHT way! Why hasn't anyone thought of this any sooner??

This ad shoot totally RAWKS! How sick is this idea? Totally McLovin It! Source courtesy of Miles Aldridge for NY Times.

Uhhhh ok, Ri-Ri has got herself into the Spanish GQ magazine again!

And uhhhhhhh Ri-Ri, Where DID you get Those?? :)

Now, I love Jon & Kate Plus 8, but this Cali couple took the easy way there and just had Octuplet 6 boys and 2 girls!! This makes them only the second couple ever to successfully deliver octuplets! Wowzers! I wonder if Discovery Network is knocking on their door already, or maybe a rival network??

Raptor Nation, stand up and be heard! Could this really be true? Is it time for the Raptors to move Chris Bosh?? Robert Seagal makes some valid points, but some also not valid points. I don't know that CB4 is an "oversized small forward". Isn't that what a Power Forward is? And at 6'10", how the heck do you play him at small forward? And isn't that what they were saying about KG for the earlier part of his career also? Yes, 20-10 is simply not enough, but that's also been the Raptors biggest weakness of not getting the same calibre of support from their wingmen either. Here's another take on it from AOL Sports written by That Guy Sweets. What's your take on it all?

Kellogg's is testing new box shapes to better suit retailers and consumers? What genius thought of this, 30 years too late!! Let's just hope that they don't follow most restaurants and charge more for less quantity!!

If you've noticed that YouTube is acting a bit different lately, here may be the answer. YouTube users are battling back against Warner Music because the deal that YouTube had with Warner Music allowing users to use and post it's music had broken down. This means that users who previously had videos with Warner music in them are being pulled and even having accounts suspended! It's one thing if they banned it from the beginning, but to have a video and then have it flagged and pulled... that's just not right. We'll see how this all ends up!

This article concerns me. It appears that if you have a bad disagreement with an airline employee, you could be flagged as a "terrorist", and even have flight priveleges revoked for life! I know, it seems a bit drastic as a measure, but it's true! It's an interpretation of the Patriot Act! This one lady was caught for spanking her kids on a flight, got into it with the flight attendant, spent 3 months in jail, and lost custody of her kids! OMG! Armageddon is truly, truly upon us!

Unborn Babies are using Twitter! I got to get me one of those belt thingy's!! That would be Way Cool! Somehow I don't think Capital M would approve!!

Check this pretty cool Moncler vid. I may need it in my next life:

Thanks to The Segment for the heads up!

Happy Bday Quiet Storm! Dang, we getting old, but we're still 21 forever! Just leave extra time in the morning for the Goose Revenge hangover cure, that's all! Pitchers and Pool is always going to Trump running from gunshots in the clubs! Keep on keepin' on!

You Lied To Me, Even Though You Know I'd Die For You.....

Gung Hai Fat Choy to all my Asian Peeps and all Asian Wanna Be Peeps!

This was the outfit today, I know I renegged on the Triumvir Tee shirt, but mostly because it was Dam Cold outside! The Ralphie Polo ended up winning the Red Race. Lovin the Jays Ole School Fitted 7 3/8. Happy day to all the Oxen out there!

Yup, looks like the new Astroboy movie is still a "go"!

50% of the animation is rendered, and still on track for the October 23, 09 release, just in time for my Bday!! Shweeeet!

Lunchtime drama. These two dudes are running around Yonge and St Clair trying to sell ShamWow's for $10 a pop. (I'm guessing the ShamWow's "fell off a truck"!) They stop to grab some grub at the same Chinese food spot as me, and they put their bags down to eat. A homeless guy passes by them and thiefs one of the bags fo ShamWow's! Hilarity ensues...

This is one of the bags that was leftover. I tried not to be so Paparazzi about it, but I couldn't help it! So both dudes are like "WTF?" The first dude is torn between leaving his food and chasing down the homeless guy. He ends up chasing down the homeless guy!! I'm just about to leave anyways, so I calmly follow to see what happens! Turns out the dude caught the homeless guy, laid a beatdown on him, and had a hole ripped in his ShamWow bag! The homeless guy was left on the floor, and mall security reports to the scene just in time! I love lunchtime drama!!
PS, don't order the Black Bean Beef! There's NO Black Beans, and it's not real beef! Trust me on this one, just Trust me!

There was some sort of protest on the corner, and it wasn't against Maple Leaf Foods for once!

I couldn't quite catch it, but it was for some sort of "freedom of speech" yadda yadda. This brings me to a funny topic. Lately, Twitter has been very interesting in regards to the social experiment. Some people really believe that everything they type on there must be scrutinized and quote-worthy. Some people aren't seeing and realizing that it's a TOOL. It's OK to be who you are, even if you are just clowning around on it. There are FOLLOW, UNFOLLOW, BLOCK, and DIRECT MESSAGE keys and they are meant to be utilized to the fullest! If you don't like what someone is saying on there, simply UNFOLLOW them. Or worse, BLOCK them! Everyone in life has choices, Twitter is no different. No one is forcing anyone to read nor believe what they want to or don't want to. It's funny how some people just "put stuff out there", floating ideas or comments to see who bites on them. I like how some people appear to be "hard" or "gangsta", but dude, are you "hard" even at breakfast? Are you "hard" in front of your cereal bowl? C'mon now, it's only the Internet!! Life as in real life is not just Black and White. There are shades of Grey. I am the ultimate shade of Grey. I guess those who know me best know that life as in most things encompassed in life is Not to be So Serious.

Who is the Obama person you speak of? Is he famous?

Ever wonder what some things are for? I spotted this at the subway station and had the gnawing urge to push it to see what happens. Maybe I'm just a sh*t disturber by nature? Argh.

Lead, Follow, or Get Out of the Cot Dam Way:

Another Pigeon dead on the tracks at Yorkdale. Sorry for the gruesomeness!

Ok, so Kanye wanted to put out some Louis' (or Louises?) for the ladies:

Like it or love it. Hate it or Loathe it. Collabo Fail? I have the weirdest feeling that the groupies are going to consume these like they are diet pills. If what I heard is true, those diet pills just make you get the runs. Kinda like what these shoes do to me! Comparison... Great Success!

Uhhhhh Kanye, Don't look now, but there's a really huge furry Penis on your neck!! And coincidentally it matches your jacket!! ACK!

I tried to told you, but you still wouldn't listen! "Hearts are the new Skulls!" The Louis Vuitton heart shaped Change Purse! Eat your "hearts" out! Har dee har heart!

Ato, the company who inspired the original Air Yeezy shoe, has their Spring 09 ready to go. Gee, think someone over there is kicking themselves for not officially putting Kanye's name on their shoe?? Yikes!

CONGRATU-FRIKKEN-LATIONS to my Dukies!! The Bluedevils gain the Number 1 spot in the country today!! #1 in the AP Poll and #1 in the Coaches Poll! S'gonna be a great matchup on Wed, Duke vs Wake in Winston-Salem! Let's GO DUKE!

Kweli gives his review of the Notorious movie. Coming from someone who was in the scene, and in some of the same real life scenes, I completely respect, agree, and endorse this review! Then there's Charli Baltimore's account of what really happened. Again, I respect that she didn't go to the media and air out her dirty panties, but I like how people are respecting the family and people involved in the project. It was such an important project to make happen for the legacy and the culture. Everyone knew that it wasn't going to be perfect, and not going to please everyone. Everyone has their own memories of BIG and what he meant to them. Sometimes it's good to just keep them that way.

A WalMart worker in Mississippi (I love typing that word!) is being charged with theft after charging a customer $5.25 for $547.50 worth of merchandise. Now, you KNOW this was premeditated because... who the fcuk spends $547.50 worth at WalMart?? Duhhh! The Red Alarms should have been going off when the customer had two shopping carts going through! I can't imagine winning a $500 shopping spree at WMart, what the heck would I spend it on? Toilet paper for life?

Here's a great recap of the job layoff situation in the US. Sprint/Nextel 8000 layoffs, Pfizer 8000 layoffs, Home Depot 7000 layoffs, Caterpillar 5000 layoffs, Intel 6000 layoffs, Microsoft 5000 layoffs, and more and more and more. It'll be interesting to see out of all the reduction in labor, who will be doing any expansion in 2009?

Don Reisinger is tired of playing his Wii. I dunno about him, but I'm fine with my Seahawks winning 3 Superbowls in a row on Madden 09, I have all the high scores on Raving Rabids TV party, finished all the Lego Batman/Indiana Jones/Star Wars, and finished Super Mario Galaxy twice both with Mario AND Luigi! Ok, that's enough Wii time! :S

Looks like Microsoft Zune has got one foot in the grave. Zune sales dropped 54% or $100 Million from last year! Wow. Isn't weird how the iPod has become the Sony Walkman of this generation??

Oh yah, so BIG NEWS! UPDATE to the career situation! I've just signed a contract that will put me back into the industry that I love and loves no one in return. Another advantage of this move, I'll be the big fish in a small pond! It's just a start really, the first steps in a lengthy plan, and still keeps me on track to the Greater Master Plan. In the words of the great Hannibal Smith, "I Love it when a plan comes together!" Get ready retail world, Homee's back on the attack. For more information, Get At Me. Otherwise, those who know, KNOW!

Yes, that's really me on the right. Kato, live and in person! "Take off the Blazer, loosen up the Tie, Step inside the Booth, Superman's still alive!"
