American Airlines takes the first step in completely pissing off their customers. American is charging $15 for each checked bag?? Not only is that going to increase the amount of carry on's, but space in the cabin is already packed up as is!! Insanity.
The Children's Place actually went up 33% in Q1 by shedding the Disney Store deficits. Turned out to be a smart move after all. The Gap also boosted up Q1 profits by 40% by cutting costs. Cost cutting usually means taking some quality out of the product so stay leery. I haven't been into a Gap nor Old Navy in a few years. Looks like a few retailers are starting to turn things around and clean up, but the journey back to the plus side is going to be a long one!! Hang in there, shoppers!
